With such a vast expanse and beadmakers scattered throughout the North we are a friendly bunch always interested in finding kindred souls to meet up with.

If you are interested in blowing and furnace work Minneapolis has a non-profit glass center MN Center for Glass Arts or MCGA. They often have open house events to come and watch or even try it out; it is a great way to meet other glass happy people. Check out their website: http://www.minnesotaglassart.org

The Bergstrom-Mahler Paperweight Museum in Neenah Wisconsin is also a great place to check out. They are currently featuring an exhibit entitled “Italian Influence in Glass” which runs October 10th through February 21st. They also offer beadmaking classes. http://www.paperweightmuseum.com
