Out of the Box is "OUT"
 
The 2008 exhibition of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers has completed its journey to venues around the United States. There were 29 pieces, produced by 26 artists, all challenged to 'think outside the box'.   

Their unique work, then placed 'in the box' was on display in these venues: 

Ohio Glass Museum - Lancaster, Ohio
Bead&Button Show - Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Frank Bette Center for the Arts - Alameda, California
Houston Center for Contemporary Craft - Houston, Texas

A catalog of the exhibition is available.  This was an incredible project for the ISGB. An innovative and provocative collection of 'little boxes'.
