The Student Outreach Committee is pleased to announce that new benefits have been added to the Student Membership category.   

Student members may participate in ISGB exhibitions at 50% off. By participating in exhibition opportunities, student members can expand their creativity and, if accepted in the exhibit, build their portfolios.

The next benefits are related to Gathering.

First, student members have an opportunity to exchange volunteer hours for conference attendance hours. This program is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. It is a great way to fulfill some school volunteer requirements or to just give back to a great community of artists while being able to sit in on amazing presentations by leading members of the glass community.

Another Gathering benefit for student members is the opportunity to take a pre-Gathering workshop for only $100. This benefit is limited to first-come, first-serve with a special student seat being offered in most of our workshops.

Finally, student members at Gathering will be able to share table space at Bead Bazaar for only $10 for one-third of a table. This allows student members an opportunity to participate in a wonderful bead show and sell their beads to the public.

These benefits are added to the individual membership benefits available for our student members. 

Those interested in student membership must be a full-time student at an accredited high school, college, or community college. To take advantage of any and all of the new as well as “old” benefits, student members must be current with their membership dues.
