Your articles, tips and tricks, technical expositions, calendar items, reviews, classifieds, letters to the editor, etc., are always welcome!
If you would like to write an article for The Glass Bead, please contact the Editor at editor@isgb.org to discuss your ideas. Also, please notify the Editor by e-mail, or call the office at 1-866-473-ISGB(4742) (toll free), before mailing hard copy (paper) submissions of articles.
You can send any electronic submissions as .doc or .txt files to editor@isgb.org. Please send e-mail submissions as attachments. Any images you send to accompany your submission should be sent as .jpg or .tif files, with at least 300 dpi resolution at the preferred print size (minimum 3" x 3"; minimum of 900 x 900 pixels).
There are no strict size limits for submissions. The suggested length for a feature article is approximately 1000 to 1200 words. Generally, 500 to 600 a words a page.Technical or
business tips, or brief how-to articles are usually 500 to 650 words in length.

Class Announcements and Classifieds
Business and Corporate members may announce classes for the quarter following each issue of The Glass Beadfor a processing fee of $10. There is a single-column, 10-line limit for announcements (about 100 words). Other classified ads are available for $10 per ad. There is a single-column, 5-line limit for classified ads (about 50 words). The Editor reserves the right to limit the number of ads submitted by an individual.
Non-Discrimination Policy
The International Society of Glass Beadmakers follows an equal employment policy without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental handicap, veteran status or marital status. This policy also applies to relationships with outside vendors, customers, contractors and the general public.
Extra copies of The Bead Release are available to ISGB members who are teachers for distribution to their students, and to local bead societies and beading supply vendors on request. Contact the national office to request copies of current or back issues by calling 866-473-ISGB (4742) or sending e-mail to ed@isgb.org.
