The Glass Bead is the place to reach Glass Bead Artisans. ISGB members are serious about their craft and are enthusiastic to try products to help them move their glass art to the next level.

The ISGB's Glass Bead connects you to over 1600 of the glass world's most impressive creators of glass beads and jewelry.

The Glass Bead is mailed quarterly to ISGB members. Approximately 100 additional copies are distributed at classes and workshops held throughout the country.

Our online survey shows that:

  • The Glass Bead readers on average have been working with glass for about four years.  
  • The majority of readers spend almost 15 hours per week in front of their torches. 
  • Over 90% use their glass bead creations to make finished jewelry.   
  • Our Members are successfully selling their glass bead creations, earning almost $10,000 on average from this part-time artisan occupation. 
  • Our Members spent 1 1/3 hours reading their most recent issue of The Glass Bead
  • They consider The Glass Bead advertising a great way to find equipment and supplies.
  • 65% of the ISGB members own one or more torches.

Electronic files via e-mail. Send to advertising@isgb.org.
Please list company name, size, and issue in the subject line.
If file is over 5mb in size, please burn your ad on a CD, provide a color proof and mail to: ISGB Advertising / Janelle Zorko / 925 N Oasis Drive Deer Park / WA 99006.

If e-mailing an ad, please use a compression tool such as Stuff-It or Zip-It to compress all your files.

For accuracy, we advise that you send a color proof of your ad to the above mailing address.

Without a color proof of the ad, we are unable to guarantee exact accuracy.

File size should be no smaller than 300 dpi (dots per inch) at 100% of the ad’s reproduction size.*

CMYK TIFF format preferred. JPEGS okay, but not recommended.

PDF files are acceptable if all layers are flattened and type layers are rastercized.

At 100% of print size, resolution must be 300 DPI (dots per inch) Lines Screen: 150 LPI (lines per inch).

  • Advertisement placement constitutes an agreement between ISGB and the advertiser.
  • All advertising is subject to ISGB approval. ISGB's The Glass Bead reserves the right to reject any advertising that it believes does not meet the standards of the association or that may be deemed offensive in any way.
  • ISGB's The Glass Bead's liability for error will not exceed the ad rates for the ad in question.
  • ISGB's The Glass Bead will be held harmless from any liability arising from the possible loss or damage to any and all elements supplied for the purpose of reproduction of advertisements in ISGB's The Glass Bead publications.
  • Advertisements that are not in the appropriate electronic format will incur composition and /or production charges, which will be billed to the advertiser at current market rates.
  • All advertisers must supply an accurate proof by the artwork deadline. Acceptable proofs are specified on the Specifications sheet.  ISGB's The Glass Bead cannot guarantee the quality of your printed ad if an accurate proof is not provided.
  • With the exception of the covers and paid positioning, ad position is not guaranteed. ISGB's The Glass Bead will make every effort to meet position requests, but assumes no obligation to meet those requests.
  • Written notice of cancellations must be received by the space deadline.
  • Artwork will not be kept or returned unless advertiser specifies when it is submitted.
  • It is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that the ad dimensions are correct. Dimensions for all ad sizes are listed on the specifications sheet.
  • Late Policy:  Artwork is due 8 days after the space deadline.  If there is a problem with the art, or the art is not received by that time, we will grant a one-time grace period to get everything resolved by 15 days after the space deadline.  If the problem is not resolved, you will be billed a $100.00 late fee in addition to your ad space, each time your artwork is submitted past the deadline. 
  • 15 days beyond the space deadline, or after you have used your grace period, you will be billed for the space you reserved, a late fee, and we may not be able to include your ad in the publication, depending on when you get it to us.  Please consult your Advertising Manager for information on late artwork accommodations.
