ISGB's Ebay Auction - Rites of Spring

It has always been ISGB’s mission to educate the public about the beauty of art glass beads. Part of that mission is the accompanying need for funds to carry it out. ISGB is undertaking an exciting new fundraising project that will combine education and outreach with securing some of the money that we need to pay for our educational programs.
The ISGB’s first–ever eBay auction, “Rites of Spring,” will take place in April, starting on Monday, April 5th and ending on Monday, April 26th (at midnight). We will be conducting the auction through eBay’s non-profit partner, MissionFish, and we’d like to thank eBay for making this project possible. By using an online auction, we hope to reach out beyond our membership to educate the public about ISGB, art glass beads, and the wonderful artists who support us.
ISGB invites you to participate in this exciting new project by donating a bead, a finished jewelry piece, or a functional object (wine stopper, letter opener, etc.) that we can include in our auction. Your biographical and artist Information will be included on your item’s auction page. Ad space has already been reserved in Ornament Magazine and there will be an article about the project in the winter issue of Glass Bead, the same issue that will contain the registration information for this summer’s much-anticipated Gathering in Rochester, NY.
We are very excited about this new project! To participate, please email a digital picture of your piece along with the attached form. The form can easily be filled out in Word, saved with your name, and attached to the email in which you send your picture. If you have a problem obtaining a photo, you have the option of sending the piece to the committee and we will photo it for you.
