The International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB) holds an annual conference to bring together an international community of glass bead artists and enthusiasts. The conference, called The Gathering, is an occasion to become involved in the glass world and make important contacts. 

There are a wide variety of events at the conference, to satisfy many interests. It is an opportunity for attendees to network with each other, and with gallery owners, collectors, technical vendors and suppliers.  It also gives the technical vendors an opportunity to showcase new equipment, tools, supplies, and glass.  Through demonstrations, lectures, panel discussions, and more, attendees can learn new techniques and business skills to further their bead knowledge.

Registration is open to all, however being a member of the ISGB ensures that  you will receive the conference registration booklet automatically, and gives you the opportunity to participate in early-bird registration.  Membership in the ISGB runs from January 1- Dec. 31.  The conference registration booklet is mailed and posted on the ISGB web site 5-6 months before the conference is scheduled to take place. If you are not a current member, and would like to obtain a conference registration booklet,  it can be downloaded from the ISGB website, or mailed from the ISGB office.  Please be sure to include your complete mailing information when contacting the office.
