In case anyone is wondering, I am not touching this with a stick. My views on the ED position are well known; basically I don't think we need one. I'd prefer that the position remained unfilled.

Martha - "we all"??? No - I didn't get a broadcast e-mail about this subject or mentioning it at all, which is why I asked what I did.

Mike, Martha is correct, I did send out a broadcast email plus posted it on the site and mentioned in the the latest Bead Release due out this month. However, if you opted out on accepting email from us, which many people did, you would not get it.

I saw it on the site when it was posted, but I didn't get nor did I need the email. The net is that I think the event was adequately communicated.

Mike, I will double check with the office in the morning. All the broadcast emails come from the home office because they have the computer capacity to handle it. Surely there is an explanation.

Hi Mike, As I remember it, the email was an announcement about something and then the second paragraph announced Julie leaving. If you just read the first section you might not have scrolled down to read the next paragraph. I can't remember the subject of the email, and I have changed computers, so I don't have a copy anymore. Perhaps someone could send it to you and you can see if it looks familiar.

I just checked my e-mails going back to the beginning of November and nothing. I didn't get it.

It isn't a big deal, but if the ISGB is assuming that people are receiving broadcast e-mails and using them for communicating important ISGB business, then there should be an awareness that something isn't working correctly.

I've got the ISGB whitelisted so nothing gets deleted - I recently received a reminder about the membership dues, so I know communications are getting through...just didn't get this one back in November.

I remember the email, for whatever that's worth...
