Okay, this is much overdue, as I tend to be a glass and tool hoarder beyond necessity. It's time to see if my excesses can benefit others. As much as I would like to say I can afford to have "give away" prices, I have to be practical. I need the funds to pay off other bills.
Video: "Nature in Glass", the private world of Paul J Stankard 28 minutes $12, this video is not a technical one. More about history of paperweights.
Bubacco designed lampwork torch, smaller version. Has seven ports. $400. Needs a stand if you like, otherwise, it can be mounted into a table as you see in my website pictures of Lucio's studio set up. You can see one in action on my webiste under 2002 Murano section. http://www.ofiliaartglass.com It would be the equivalent to a Minor, only these torches are specific to the Venetian style of work. They physically get very hot. Flame wise they are significantly softer and ideal for sculptural work in soft glass. I have a larger version (like the one you see Lucio using) that I am keeping and had Arrow Springs make a base for it. A standard torch top ring clamp marver can also be used. This basic torch is just two nobs, and has two nipples at the bottom, as you can see in various pictures of Lucio's studio. It's either brass or bronze? Like I said, it gets hot, but we managed to work it fine in our long day workshops there.
Arrow Springs Temperature Controller ASC/3 New, "virgin" condition! $385. I never used it and has been sitting around for almost three years now. Time someone who really needs it uses it.
Glastar Variable speed grinder. #B12V (#33506) 1/3 HP, 115 V, 12" pads, 120 grit, 400 grit, Diamond resin pad, Polishing pad, Steel Blank for B12 disc drive (don't ask, I have no idea what this is - just going off my invoice) Coolant recirculating pump, Coolant EZ-grind/one gallon You can see it at http://www.glastar.com/catalog/beveling/B12.cfm I paid $1640 plus $57 in shipping for the whole unit. I never used it, as my studio is just not big enough for such a set up, and my dusty garage is inhabited by way too many spiders for me to work out there only seasonally. I'm taking best reasonable offer on this. The boxes are heavy, and shipping will proably be about what I paid for it to anyplace in the states.
Carlo Dona Large V-shape Duck Bill holder $75 You can see one in Frant's site, look under Carlo Dona manufacturer.
