Using no bead release on Tungsten mandrels can open pathways for true innovation The benefit of this new approach allows students to make more wild and complex shapes, such as large thin disks or pieces that are off center, stacked, free formed or stretched with intentionally distorted elements. Students will learn intricate dots and masking patterns, fine stringer work, feathering and surface manipulation, clear casing and implosions and twisted and murrine canes. We will be using using Effetre/ Moretti / Vetrofond 104 soft glass and Northstar 104 silver glass and three sizes of tungsten mandrels. This Techniques is very new to the bead making community.
