American Trade Bead / ISGB Gathering Design Scholarship
Program and Application


The American Trade Bead / ISGB Gathering Design Scholarship is a glass product design scholarship. The recipient, to be announced in March of 2014, will receive a full conference scholarship for the July, 2014 ISGB Gathering in Houston, Texas, travel, and expense stipends.

This competition is specifically aimed at inspiring glass makers to produce and promote their work in stylized collections; it is specifically aimed at supporting and promoting the profitable sale and resale of those efforts.

The American Trade Bead / ISGB Gathering Design Scholarship committee is co-chaired by Harold Williams Cooney, Kendra Bruno, Angie Ramey, and Nikki Haverstock.

Submissions will be judged by a panel consisting of three chairs; the Studio for the American Trade Bead, the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, and an Industry Professionals Panel.

Submission deadline is January 10, 2014.
