Thread: Sight seeing day!

I bumped into one definite and a possible second person who'd be interested in coming along on Thursday. Since we're mooching off of Laura and her car, I thought I'd better check in to see how many people we're at so far so I can let these two know if there's space.

    Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

My car can hold 5 of us. I believe we are full with me, you, Sheryl,Nicole and Debby. Our plan is to leave early Thursday morning, First Stop is to go to the original Starbucks store at the Pike Place Market. Those not going to see the King Tut Exhibit will stay in that area and beginning their site-seeing day from there. Seeing the Market, waterfront and any other thing they want to do in that area. I will have a list of items and maps for the group to choose from. They will catch a ride up to the Seattle Center later in the mid day to meet up with us at the Chihuly Garden of Glass. They can actually ride the Monorail from downtown up to the Seattle Center. We will all meet up and do the Garden of glass together and if we all have time we can buy the combo ticket and do the Space Needle, too. Then we will head back to Bellevue in time for the scheduled events. Hopefully arriving back by 3:30 at the latest.

I know that Sheryl and I have our King Tut tickets bought for a 10am entry time ready at will call. I believe you and Debby are doing the downtown. Not sure about Nichole if she is doing King Tut or going with you guys?

If someone else has a car we could get a larger group included. Anyone???

    Can't wait to see everyone!

    Laura

I bought a King Tit ticket 10 am at will call. I am most excited about Pike's Place and the Chihuly exhibit you may have to put someone in charge of dragging me out of there! I cannot thank you enough for including me, this is going to be so much fun!

    Ok, thanks Laura!

Nah, you couldn't possibly slow me down Debby -- the fun part of touristing is doing the slow amble around town -- get to see more stuff that way!
