The Whistler Molten Experience 2012 was a booming success in early May. The Vancouver based Pacific Pyros and the event organizers would like to thank Seattle glass artist Kimberly Affleck for her wonderful demonstration of her Seahorse bead, and her large bi-cones. They are amazing. We’d also like to thank volunteer demonstrators: Marcel Rensmaag, from the Netherlands, for his marble technique; Debbie Armstrong, for her dot beads; Melanie Graham, for her mushroom beads; Deb Tarry for her wine glass stems, and Melanie Rowe for her glass molds. Famed Dragonfly Lampwork artist, Kerri Fuhr, was the Keynote Speaker who explained marketing and promotion of Artist’s body of work. It was an incredible event from every aspect.

The ‘Experience’ was held at a beautiful private resort in Whistler. (www.edgewater-lodge.com). It was so successful it will become an annual event to the members and friends of the Pacfic Pyros; which any glass artist can join by going to their website (www.pacificpyros.org). Congratulations to everyone involved for a flawless and exciting experience.
