My backup kiln is for sale. It's a HotGlass HG9B11 by Sundance in good condition. It has a front opening—great for beads—with a dial heat control switch. The bead kiln, made with insulated fire brick, can also be used for fusing glass, ceramics, and copper enameling. The kiln is composed of modular units—a base, a bead extension, the heating unit, lid w/handle and 4 feet. It has a removable rod rest inside the bead unit. A pyrometer is necessary to measure temperature and does not come with this kiln. Complete details are shown on this page. http://www.sundanceglass.com/hg9b11r.htm.
The retail price new is $395. I'm selling for $150 + shipping.
If you are in the Chicago area or will be at the Bead & Button show, I will bring it for pick-up.
