    Default Do you Pinterest?

    Here is my link: http://pinterest.com/susan_a_sheehan/
    Post yours!

What is Pinterest? I think of it as a visual bookmarking system you share. The layout is a series of bulletin boards with a thumbnail picture that exists on the page you wish to save. You organize them by whatever theme you wish. Your recent pins (imagine using a thumbtack to pin an internet image onto a bulletin board) are fed into a running stream for those who follow you to view. You can see the same from anyone you follow.

Once you have signed up through a member invite, (which I suggest as it is almost instantaneous versus waiting for them to answer your request) go to the main page. On the top right look for "about" and toggle over it. You will see the pin it button. Download your pin it button.

As you go about your internet day and see things you would like to bookmark go ahead and hit the pin it icon in your toolbar to save links. A pop up window will open with picture options to save. Click the one you like best. Add a caption and choose a board to pin it to. You can scroll to the bottom of your current list to add a new theme if necessary.

If you would like an invite message me with your email and I will send you one.

I really love Pinterest. I use it to keep track of inspiration, things I covet and things I wish I knew more about. I find it a little quirky on my Ipad, but easy on my laptop. It is especially nice that Etsy and some other sites have added Pinterest buttons near the FB like button. I THINK this is me: http://pinterest.com/jeribeads/

    WARNING!!

    Pinterest is addictive.
Do Not Go There if you are on a deadline, supposed to be making beads, attending to routine, boring tasks or sleeping.
    Don't say I didn't warn you.

Bumping this up with an invite. I have a board dedicated to glass beads.
    http://pinterest.com/susanasheehan/g...aker-showcase/

This board has over 1000 followers. That means each time you pin your beads to it, more than 1000 people will have it show up in their feed. Here is the board description and what you do if you want to be on it:
This is a showcase of artisan made lampwork glass beads. Please click on the picture of beads you like to see more of the artist's work. Are you a glass bead maker and want to contribute? Please @ me in a comment on this board and I will add you as a contributor. *ONE PIN PER CONTRIBUTOR PLEASE* - You may switch out your pin up to once a day to keep things fresh.

Note- you do need to follow me to contribute, but I also need to follow you to add you to the board. It's a win/win

Susan I think I am following the board already. When I have some things to post I will get with you about being a contributor.
I love pintrest but can not access it at work which is a good thing and I spend way to much time on it when I do at home. I am trying to limit myself to getting on either right before I cook dinner as it "has to be on the table at 6 pm" (doesn't happen often) or later in the evening as I have to get up for work the next day. So those will both limit how long I can stay on there.
    Have a great day!
