Default Show and tell Sept. 28th til Oct 5th

i am falling down on the job here... sorry for the delay in starting ... we were away this weekend at the BOC Beads in space event... It was amazing....
I have been working on some test beads... ideas for color combinations etc... here is a group shot I put together of a few.... I have been spinning yarns as well... i have these fantastic 12 inch locks of curly wool... they are amazing... I will post a pic or two of the yarns I have finished....

I am excited to see what you all have been up to the past few days....

Beautiful, Kris. Test beads can be so much fun. Discovering new things. Got to admit , I have had some awesome beads come out of tests and accidents. And a group of them can make a fun necklace and/or bracelet.

I'm recovering from a show and catching up - haven't been on the torch at all. Gotta get there!

test beads are fun... they usually sell pretty well for me as well... I dont usually make necklaces from them but just in a big bowl... I have been away from the torch to much also so I have BoC Beads in space beads to make and another project to get moving on... looking forward to seeing what you come up with... hoping the show was good...

Love the test beads, Kris!! I haven't really made "spectacular" stuff since I got home from Louisville because I've been concentrating on building show stock for a couple of American Gem Expo shows that the Firecrackers are doing this fall. Mother and I still have a few empty spaces to fill, but with three weeks to go, I think we're gonna make it! Since I don't have anything else to show, I thought I'd share pics of our table mock-up.

    WOW!!!!!!!WOW'!!!!!!!!!
I am so impressed! And I love your banner. When and where is your show? It looks like you are really getting it all together. And what a good idea to have it set up so you can really see the holes in your stock. I can sorta set out my trays but I don't have a place to set the table. Good job!

Don't you just want to touch all those beads on Angie's table?

Kris I love your beads. The design is so much fun.

here is a picture of a tailspun scarf I just finished.... it is a confusing picture as the lockas are about 12-14 inches long and it is a hard thing to get a picture of... but I LOVE how it turned out..... I spun it using shorter(6-8 inch) dyed locks and then added the long locks as I went along.... I core spun it onto the fuschia core yarns.... I then single crocheted it onto handdye cotton ribbion with a HUGE hook... I totally love it.....
