Shari - doing nothing is actually doing something! lol! I have a hard to doing nothing and actually have received a book titled "The Art of Doing Nothing" from my honey years ago. Didn't do me any good!

Thanks for the kind words. I DID put on my magnifiers to make them!

    Default work in progress!

This weekend I had almost two hours on the torch, for the first time since I injured my neck in March. I made a hollow beads striped with canes, that will ultimately be sliced into beads, and then flat lapped. This is nothing beautiful to behold....but I'm excited I was able to be on the torch at all. For a moment I forgot how impossible photos are, and I took two to show you, but they won't upload and I have given up, sigh. Jeri
PS - I had no problem (pretending to) upload them to LE, so I'm sort of confident I'm not a complete dolt. J

For those of you having problems uploading photos, there is a link to a GREAT tutorial at the top of each forum page. I find its easier if I open a second window to upload my pictures in. That way I can copy and paste the code for each photo from that window into my actual post.

Reading that back, it sounds confusing, but read the tutorial. Janelle makes it a lot simpler than I do. LOL!

YES I do it they way you describe Angie..... Open a second page with the forum on the new page as well...AT the very top thre are 3 tabs... forum....images... ISGB home... I click IMages...then click upload images... you can then browse for your photo... add it ... click host it... It will upload and then pop up in a list of your othr photos... copy the link to the entire photo....then go over to your original thread and paste it right there under what you are typing.... TAA-DAA... it should (fingers crossed) be there....

It is different than LE where you "manage attachemnts" but this way I found quite easy... But I also made a little note of the steps.... good luck....

I have tried the instructions at the top of the page and it says that my image file is full and I can't add any more. I tried deleting some but it was still full. I think maybe Carolyn ran into that same problem. ????

So here are the images Carolyn sent me of the leaves she is making for the wedding cake topper! Can't wait to see it finished.

And here are Jeri's images. I think it is really cool to see what the bead looks like before she cuts out those incredible slices and polishes them into beads. Jeri, be sure to send me more so everyone can see! And this technique is in her new book, too!
