Bubacco Figures workshop, April 23 through 27, 2012

Ciao tutti! Just back from Murano, and we have set dates for our spring, 2012 workshop(s).

So far, an open call for a special five day workshop with Lucio Bubacco in his private studio in Murano, Italy.

AMAZING group of students, hard at work!

I have to confess..... all of you who know me, tease me, "Was OUR group the best??!". And to be totally honest, each year has a different dynamics due to the different souls participating. I take extra care to coordinate and get everyone to know each other long before our group sets foot in Italy. Each year IS better and DIFFERENT! SO, YES< each group is better than the last, but in EQUAL ways. I know, it's hard to understand this, but I BS you not!

The five day workshop is US $1600. It includes class materials and a light lunch.

Apartment arranging is done on a first come, first serve basis. I've over the years, located additional apartments, that we have many options open to us, and all located on the much revered island of Murano. Even students that have taken apartments in Venice proper, have all commented how much they PREFER staying in Murano their whole stay, given the chance to repeat their visits.

I've been organizing groups for Lucio since 2006. Each year, each group, I have learned more and more. Now, we are over 125 students strong in experience, and I lost track of additional travel companions who joined the students in their adventures.
