Thank you, Terry for getting this put together for our members in Canada. I know it took a great deal of time, but we all thank you very much!

YES Terry! Thank you is the understatement of the year! I have been talking to Visa about setting up, but their fees were outragous! This is just wonderful. And it looks like it's going to be so easy.
So is the $49.95 already the discounted price? Not that it matters, cuz I'm sure I was quoted well over $200 to get set up when I looked into it myself. AND I was told I needed to do so much a month! Well I don't do a show every single month, so I had really given up on the whole idea. Until NOW that is!!
I will be signing up with ProPay tomorrow. AND I have a show this Saturday!
Hey, were do you all get the visa 2 copy slips at? Can you buy them at staples or something like that? Someone else said I need to get them from my bank. Is that correct?

Yes, Julie, that's the discounted price. It's a bit higher than the US fee but that's due to some higher fees that ProPay incurs there.

The ability to pay a single fee per year with no minimum monthly sales is exactly why I went with ProPay. Their service has saved me a LOT of money over the years! Before I had the shop and was doing shows only, my sales more than doubled as soon as I was able to take credit cards. Not only were more people buying, but they were purchasing higher priced items and/or more items at a time.

I buy my credit car slips online. There are several places that offer them so shop around -- Google is your friend! I get the short, two part forms. One word of caution, though...if you do get an imprinter (aka "knucklebuster) ignore the cheapest ones! They are more aggravation than they are worth. I bought one for around $20 that's pretty worthless. I bought another one for $35-40 that works like a charm. The companies that sell the credit card slips usually offer the imprinters, too.

    Good luck with your show!

    Terry, thank you so much!
Now I don't have to wait for them to 'open'! lol I will just go sign up on line, now that I know the price is already discounted! I will actually just go into town here and see if the stationery store sells the cc slips.
I am so excited about this! I hoped if I waited long enough, something wonderful like this would come available. And I have an 'air card' for my laptop, so I can take it to my shows and process the cc sales immediately. How awesome!
    Thank you so, so much.

I'm not sure, to be honest. That's something they've added since we talked and I apologize for not having that detail. Give them a quick call at 866-573-0951 and then, if you don't mind, post what you find out so others will know.

    Thanks!

I tried my isgb number and that is what they wanted. Least everything went through ok.
Also for other peeps info -

I live in rural Alberta and only have a post office box number to get my mail. On the application form, it says 'no box numbers' where you are to add your street number, etc. To get around that, I put this -
    Postal Station Main Box ****
and then completed the app. It looks like everything went through ok.
    I'm so pleased!!
