Default Spider webb effect on HH

    Ok another question...

Can I get the spider webb effect on propane only, or is it not hot enough?
I´m talking about when you use hairthin stringers of intense black and heat it up enough to spread like a spider webb... Does it work better on any kind of color?

And- does working closer to the flame always mean hotter or am I just reducing?

I´m not on a HH, I´m on a volcano, but it kind of is like an HH, at least when it comes to propane only and gas.

Many questions from a newbie... I have a whole list of them so pls bare with me

    Hi Lina

I'm back from my torch... I did a test-bead with ivoury and white with small dots of dense black on top. I had to turn the torch on "dragon-breath" and fry the bead very tough in the end of the bright turquoise cone to make the black spread. Forget about reduction and/or use it as part of your design. You'll have to experiment with smaller test beads...

PS: Did you try to work with the Opalino Colors? They are the 6xx color numbers from Effetre. You can get these web-effects with these colors on a Hot-Head, too. But it is pretty tricky to reduce and unreduce the bead in the right times and amounts.

Dragon breath? I don´t think I´ve heard of that one before, but I can imagine it... Is it a great flame Ok, I have opalinos, I will try it. So you say fry the h*ll out of it? Sounds like fun
