It is a good thing the picture isn't due until then. My camera broke sometime between the summer and my trip to China. I didn't find out until I was there. I am having a big problem figuring out what to get. What I had was expensive and it lasted less than two years and the cost to fix it is drivng me to get a new one. The biggest single requirement is that it take good pictures of my beads and the creations I make with them. Next is the flowers in my garden, my daughter's costumes, my family, my animals, and on and on. There are so many models, I finally did a spreadsheet with models, prices at various places and ratings by various online sites and Consumer Repots, Mac World, etc. trying to figure this out.

I am actually buying 3 cameras; for the 2 that are gifts, I have picked a model, it is for me that I cannot decide. I am debating about going all out and getting an SLR. I have a Minolta film camera and two lenses but Minolta and whoever bought them are going out of the camera business and likely I won't be able to use my lenses on any of the other brands.

I have to make up my mind soon. Pam

It would be fun if folks would post their pictures here, too. They have to be optimized for the web, resolution at about 96 as opposed to 300 dpi, but it would be great to have a preview.

I haven't even made my bead yet, so bring on the inspiration!

Oh! I second that motion! It'd be great fun to see what y'all are sending in! I haven't made mine yet either but I know exactly what I'm going to do. I'm going to work on it today, trying several different color combos....
