It depends on where you are trying to log into - the forum or the directory. Double check to make sure that you are using the correct login username and password for each.

You may also want to check your browser/security settings, e.g., your pop up blocker can prevent the membership renewal process from working properly.

We have two areas to log into:
Forum – The username and password you created when registering on the forum will grant you access to the general forum that allows non-member viewing. For access to the Members Only area, please contact webmaster @ isgb.org (remove spaces) to be granted access to official ISGB business and discussions. You will need to provide your ISGB membership number, your first and last name as well as your forum username so that your info can be researched.

Online Membership Directory – The username and password for the membership directory is separate and may be different from your forum access. If you have forgotten your credentials for this area or have misplaced the email sent out several months ago, please contact membership @ isgb.org (remove spaces) for a reminder. You will need to provide your ISGB membership number, your first and last name so that your info can be researched.

Q. How many usernames and passwords do I need to access the various areas of the ISGB?
A. Two. (Your username and password may be different for each.)

Forum (For access to the Members Only area, please contact webmaster@isgb.org to be granted access to official ISGB business and discussions. You will need to provide your ISGB membership number, your first and last name as well as your forum username so that your info can be researched.)

Online Membership Directory (this is where you can modify the information you want displayed about you in the Directory as well).

Q. I do not have access to the Members Only area of the ISGB Forum, what do I do?
A. Contact our Webmaster at webmaster @ isgb.org (remove spaces) with the following information:
- your ISGB membership number
- your first and last name
- your user name on the ISGB forum

The mission of the forum is to provide information and education about glass beadmaking, promote glass beadmaking, and preserve the history of the art form to both our members and the general public.

The ISGB Bead Forum is a forum for everyone that makes glass beads or is interested in glass beadmaking.

To keep this forum a place where all participants feel safe and comfortable, as it is in all communities - both real and virtual - a code of conduct is necessary. Therefore, to ensure a pleasant atmosphere, all users of the ISGB Bead Forum are asked to abide by the following guidelines.

1.) Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. You may not use another user's account, or allow someone to use your account. You acknowledge that you will not impersonate any forum participants. You will provide a valid email address in your profile for use by the administrator. If any information provided is discovered to be false, or invalid, the ISGB Administrator has the right to refuse any current and future access to the forum. You will not use any service to obscure or hide the origination of any content.

2.) Your words are your own. Lively participation is vital to the forum's success, but please remember that we are communicating without the benefit of body language and voice inflection. Words can sometimes be misinterpreted. It is imperative that participants converse in a courteous, respectful manner. Differing opinions and viewpoints are normal and foster lively debate, but please keep your comments relevant to the subject being discussed and not about the person who offers a differing opinion than your own. Personal attacks are disruptive to the forum and will not be tolerated. Harassing, offensive, vulgar, abusive, hateful or bashing comments, pictures, or links - especially those aimed at sexual orientation, gender, race, color, religious views, national origin or disability - are not allowed and will be deleted. You acknowledge that you will not harass or threaten any forum participants. This also includes the posting of taunts on a forum solely for the purpose of deriding that forum’s topics and/or members. Please keep all remarks in the spirit of the ISGB. We are all friends here, and we should treat each other as such.

3.) Any opinions and recommendations expressed on the forum are those of the person expressing such views. The ISGB is not responsible for and does not assume any liability for the comments and opinions.

4.) The ISGB Bead Forum does not allow any unlawful, harmful, threatening, sexually explicit, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, racial and/or ethnic slurs; hateful content; or otherwise objectionable material.
Please avoid profanity, as there are many other creative forms of expressing yourself !

5.) Placing advertising on the forum in posts is NOT ALLOWED, however an occasional personal piece of glass making equipment for sale will be tolerated in the Used Equipment area.
Brief announcements of classes may be listed in the Events area of the forum. You may not use the ISGB forum to sell a product or service, or to increase traffic to your website for commercial reasons. Vendors may not post negative comments regarding a competitor.

The ISGB reserves the right to delete any post or thread, or close any thread for any reason, without prior notice.
We have the right to terminate the user account of anyone who violates the user agreement or whose behavior we deem to be unacceptable.
We reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or disruptive.

If a decision is made to remove or edit a post or thread, we will also remove all follow up posts or threads that reference the post in question.
If a thread is closed any attempt to reopen the thread or continue it will be removed.

Three-Strikes Guideline.
The first violation of the rules will result in a warning and possibly all posts being reviewed before appearing on the forum for a period of time.
Any attempt to bypass this moderation will result in account termination.
The second violation will result in all posts being moderated and a warning that one more violation will lead to account termination.
The third violation will result in permanent account termination.
Decisions made by the administrator are final.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to this forum at any time. It is not necessary to be a repeat offender to be removed.

By using the ISGB website, you agree to be bound by these guidelines.
The ISGB reserves the right to revise these guidelines at any time, without prior notice.

The pages may contain links to websites outside the purview of the ISGB. The ISGB does not control the content of these websites, nor are we responsible for any content on these websites. Visit these websites at your own risk.

If for some reason you feel that you can not abide by these guidelines, we would ask that you find a forum that is more to your liking.
